Information collected by the contact form
The contact form collects the following information:
- your name (required)
- your email address (required)
- your company name, if you provide it
- the product you select, if you select one
- the message you write (required)
Purposes of the collection
This information is used to understand your request, respond to it, prepare a demonstration or professional conversation, and follow up on the request. It is not used for any other purpose.
Processing of the form by Netlify
The form is processed using Netlify Forms. When you submit it, the information you provide is transmitted to Netlify and retained temporarily within Netlify's infrastructure, where CSL Software can consult it.
Netlify acts as a technical provider in the operation of this site.
Retention of submissions in Netlify
CSL Software regularly deletes the submissions retained in Netlify and does not intend to keep them there beyond 90 days after receipt, except where longer retention is necessary to handle an active request or is required by law.
This deletion is performed by CSL Software; it is not automatic.
Email correspondence
When you write directly to our contact address, or when an exchange continues by email after a request, those communications are handled by the Microsoft 365 mailbox provided and configured through GoDaddy.
These emails and the exchanges that follow may be retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your request and to follow up on any professional relationship that may result from it.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by Netlify. Certain technical data necessary to deliver and secure the site may be processed by Netlify, for example the IP address, browser, device, HTTP request and associated technical information.
This processing is part of how the host operates. CSL Software does not necessarily have direct access to all of these logs.
Processing outside Québec
Netlify, as well as Microsoft and GoDaddy, are providers whose infrastructure may result in information being processed or hosted outside Québec, including in the United States or other jurisdictions, depending on their infrastructure and subprocessors.
Such processing is governed by those providers' applicable contractual commitments and protection measures.
Sensitive information
The contact form is not intended to receive tax, financial, medical, or other sensitive or confidential information. We ask that you not submit such information through this form.
What we do not do
- Information is not sold.
- No targeted advertising is carried out.
- No advertising profiling is performed.
- No automated marketing mailing list is maintained.
- No analytics tool is used on this site.
Cookies
A single cookie is set, and only if you switch language yourself: “csl_locale”, kept for one year, which records the language you chose so that the site's root address redirects you to the right version.
No analytics, advertising or profiling cookie is used.
Security
CSL Software applies security measures that are reasonable and proportionate to the nature of the information handled, including encrypted transmission of the site and restricted access to submissions. No measure can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may in particular:
- request access to the information concerning you
- request its correction
- withdraw your consent, where that right applies
- request the computerized information you provided to us, where that right applies
- ask a question or make a complaint about how it is handled
